About me
After studying law at the University of Hamburg and completing my legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Schleswig, including a stint at the Ministry of Health and Consumer Protection of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, I began my professional career in 2012 as a lawyer at a law firm in Hamburg specialising in food law. I was already employed there during my studies and legal clerkship.
My clients included leading companies in the fields of sports nutrition, dietary nutrition, dietary foods, food supplements and pharmacies.
In 2016, I joined a larger law firm in Hamburg, which allowed me to expand my range of advisory services. I was now also able to deal with issues relating to cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and medical devices law as well as the entire field of food law, including criminal food law and hygiene law issues. Administrative law cases also increasingly became part of my work.
My clients included leading companies in the areas of food supplements, FSMP, infant and paediatric nutrition, confectionery, cosmetics and online pharmacies.
Since 2017, I have also been advising extensively in the area of electronic cigarettes and refill containers as well as in other tobacco law areas such as shisha tobacco and tobacco-free smoking products.
In October 2020, I founded my own law firm in the town of Arnis an der Schlei, the smallest town in Germany, and have been advising clients as an independent lawyer ever since.
My clients include leading suppliers of electronic cigarettes and refill containers in Germany.
